It has been about 4 years since my journey on itch.io began. I uploaded some pixelart planets I was making for a game for free and as I was getting the occasional donation and interest was rising I thought I could try to turn them into a paid pack...
Fast forward to today and 37 000 downloads later I am still making updates and new packs (even though not every one turns out to be popular), a good chuck of my income comes from itch and I even have a small Patreon going! Seeing your comments and the assets in so many games brings me so much joy!
All of this feels incredible and motivates me to keep working on my art and games when I am tired after work or manage to squeeze some free time on a weekend (one day I might be able to do it full time, that is my most sincere dream...). And all of this, because of you!

Congratulations! I still haven't used your assets but they are definitely inspiring for some game ideas I have :)
I'm also learning godot so that was another strong reason I followed you.
Thank you for your kind words! Yes, I am a big fan of Godot, hoping to release a demo of my game by the end of the year.
I am considering the idea of making a Discord server for gamedev, maybe focused on pixelart, Godot, maybe space as a topic too... What do you think?
